Multiple Starter With Overload and High, Low Voltage Protection

This project aims to use the computer keyboard as a dual controller for switching Electrical Motors etc. Also we can monitor the Current for the devices. This project also has the provision for setting the current limit also, and the loads will get tripped if the current exceeds the limit. The Actions done can also be Announced by using the computer Multimedia Speaker for e.g. if a motor is switched on/off this is achieved with the use of advanced Transducers and Relays. The is e o/p of the sensors is conditioned and fed into the centralized computer by means of a PIC Microcontroller using RS232 Interface. The Features included are

On/Off provision for Devices:

Using computer keyboard we can able to Switch on or switch off the Motors by using the computer Keyboard Keys. The indications are given in the computer screen itself i.e., Status of the devices (On or off).

Temperature based Action:

By using thermistors we can able to identify the temperature for the devices and we can accordingly trip the devices.

Voice Announcement

Any Event in the project can be announced on the computer multimedia Speakers.

This embedded project concept is really great and switching on/off the motor through computer keyboard is a nice idea too. The core architecture of PIC microcontroller is, it contains one accumulator, hardware stack, program counter and set of fixed length instructions. Final Year Projects
